The 808 lane follows the project key. Notes slide into each other the way a real 808 does. And a built-in 808 frequency guide shows where your sub actually lands — C1 to G1 is the sweet spot for clubs and cars.
Play a kick from a sample, or build one by synthesis. Or layer a synth sub under a sampled kick on the same lane, for the weight a sample alone never has.
Each lane has its own rate — 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, triplets included — so the hats can roll while the kick stays put. A roll lane per step turns any hit into a burst.
Every step carries its own pitch, its own loudness, its own pan. Template B puts a clap next to the snare so the backbeat has two voices from the first spin.
A half-time effect for the switch-up, and a rhythm shaper that repeats or retriggers on every hit — the pumping, stuttering movement that makes a trap beat breathe.
Set once, everything tuned lands in key. Change the key or the tempo and the whole groove follows — 808, lead and chords together. Percussion is left alone, as it should be.

In Beatslots, open the ☰ menu at the top right and choose License…. It also opens by itself while the demo is running.
Paste the key from the email into the field and click ACTIVATE. Beatslots checks it once, online, in a second or two.
The window turns green. From now on this computer opens without asking, with or without internet. Moving to a new machine? RELEASE THIS COMPUTER frees the slot.
Two. A studio Mac and a laptop, say. To move to a third, open the licence window on one of the first two and click Release this computer — the slot is free again.
Once, to activate. After that Beatslots works fully offline. When it does have a connection it quietly re-checks the licence every 30 days; if it can't reach us, nothing changes on your side.
